Though it will bore most of the world, here's a means of keeping track of what's happening with the King household.

Less than 24 hours now. We'll go to the hospital in a bit for preliminary blood work and paperwork. The power went off last night for several hours, and I was hoping Janet would not go into labor because of the added difficulty of getting ready to go in the dark. There was a tornado in Jackson, Tennessee, last night that swept through town within miles of where my Mom lives. Apparently the staff tried to wake up everyone and herd them down to the ground floor for safety, but Mom slept right through it. The tornado went through downtown instead and hit the Justice Center that houses the police department and fire department, among other things. Death toll stands at 10, but Mom is OK.

Zach is coming to terms with having to get up at 4:30 in the morning. We are to check into the hospital at 6 a.m., with surgery scheduled for 8. I have a list of people to call and another list of people to e-mail, and will also post information here--including photos, as soon as I can get them. I don't know how to download photos from the digital camera, but we'll get them ASAP.
